A reminder

Since there were a lot of people who signed up when the comm started (\o/) this is a note to say that most of those people have a deadline for posting a first fanwork in mid-June.

So, just a reminder that it's time to post a fanwork or comment here (or at the original claims post) to let your mod know if want to keep or drop your claim - or choose a new one! (And that's all - no pressure to post anything, just wave to show you're still alive and willing to play. Rest assured, I'm not rushing off to delete anyone from the list yet.)

I have started a fic for mine... I can't imagine that anyone is likely to want to claim the same combination of characters and table I have, so I don't mind if you want to leave my claim up there or delete it and I can reclaim it when I've finished the fic.

And then you can have another three months. It's a low pressure challenge. (I thought about having no deadlines, because it doesn't matter with the claims. But I think some sort of deadline actually does help a bit, so this was my compromise.)

I'll look forward to Seven 'n' Ace being their awesome selves at some point in the future, anyway. :-)

:D Indeed! (Oh please, thank you! ♥ That would be helpful. I don't like asking for them, but I sure need one. My sibling's been rushed into hospital and I've got to play mum and it's all getting to me. . . I'll be fine, but it's like you forget about challenges at moments like that!)

Of course challenges don't matter at times like that - and it's already done (I think it's till 12th Sept). The deadline's only there for (ideally) at least one fic to be done OR for you to confirm you still want to retain the claim, and that's all.

Shoot, has it been three months already? I have something started but haven't managed to finish yet, and if I remember right, I'm supposed to post by tomorrow, which won't happen. I'd still like to keep the claim and hopefully will get something finished soon.

I didn't forget about my deadline. I made an ambitious claim to a twenty prompt table. The first prompt is coming along I still have a lot of editing to do. I don't think I'll finish in time. I'll probably post it two weeks late. I want to post a fic for each doctor but I still haven't finished the first one yet :(

I need an extension on my Tenth Doctor era claim, please- the story I was working on did not work out as planned, and I'd rather fix it than post something awful.

It's okay - the deadline is only for the first post, and you've just posted some, so now you've got as long as you like to do the rest! Good luck with it. :-)
