Title: Addicted
Rating: G
Word Count/Size/Length: 200
Claim: Eleventh Doctor Era (6 prompts - Murder Mystery table)
Prompt: #04 - Posion
Notes/Warnings: n/a
Summary: What's it actually like travelling with the Doctor? Too much for the human body.
Characters disclaimed.
It's intoxicating. The thrill is like a never ending high. Planets and aliens. It's all new and unbelievable. It swirls around your body. It messes with your head. Your heart beats faster. Your vision blurred; colours seem brighter, the universe is playing with Photoshop in your mind. You're hearing things, hallucinating, and feel off balance. Alien languages sound native, but you know they're not. They can't be. You can barely sleep; and it claims your ever waking thought. The adventures you've been on. The things you've seen. It's under your skin. You sweat it out from your pores. You're breathed in alien air - and somehow survived. How does the TARDIS do that? Creates an air bubble so you can breathe right, has a translator in your mind, so you can hear right. The science behind that is beyond explanation. But you continue to go along with it. From the outside you look under control, inside the riot rages on. But that's what it's like with the Doctor. He is like a poison - a drug and you're addicted.
