Summary: Melody Pond has never been one to care about rules. She's going to kill the Doctor, and she's going to kill him now.

So this is dear Mummy's Raggedy Doctor, is he? He's delectable.

It's a shame that he has to die.

Melody isn't sure exactly why the Doctor must die. It's just an instinct, an urge that she feels. There's almost the faint ghost of a voice echoing in her mind, driving her on.

The Doctor...I've got to kill the Doctor...

But not here; not now. Something is telling her that it's too soon. She's got to wait. There is a time and a place for these events to play out. Here and now are neither.

Well, to hell with too soon. He's here; she's here. Why bother waiting? What's the point? It isn't as if there are rules to play by. Even if there were, they wouldn't matter. Melody Pond has never been one to care about rules. She's going to kill the Doctor, and she's going to kill him now.

Still, it seems like such a waste. She wasn't expecting him to be so sexy. The way he can switch from cuddly, awkward little boy one moment, to dangerously flirtatious the next...ohhhh, but that's yummy. And she strongly suspects that he's a far better kisser than that brief peck implies. She'd take him to bed in a heartbeat, if she had the time. But she doesn't.

Well, to be completely accurate, Melody does have the time. The Doctor's the one whose internal clock is ticking down to zero, thanks to that kiss. The lipstick--attuned to his specific biological coding, though Melody could never explain how or why she knows this--has done its work.

It's going to be a painful death, and he's already suffering. But he ought to be grateful. Not everybody's final moments are sealed with a kiss.
