She'll keep it safe. And in doing so will keep him safe. She'll store it deep within herself. At her core, where most do not dare enter. Written in Gallifreyan, its contents were protected from most. She never needed to translate Gallifreyan. But it wasn't enough for her. She needed more than that. No void was not deep enough. No dark space was hidden enough. She knew she had to keep it and protect her thief from himself. No locked room could ever keep him out. She knew little of his plans to never access it again, and was fearful.
He'd never touch it. Never even dream of touching it. But he needed to keep it safe. Needed to keep everyone else out. He'd lock it away deep inside the TARDIS, where even he'd not dare enter. He knew there'd be little temptation for him. Hidden in plain sight was almost logical. And he feared it falling into the wrong hands. No, he'd keep it and protect himself and all he knew. Protect sexy from those who want her and her secrets.
No, he thought, setting a course. No locked room had ever kept him out. He needed something more final; where he and his enemies definitely wouldn't go.
And then there he was, staring into a supernova. He took a deep breath and threw the TARDIS manual into it. It was a better way of handling something that didn't agree with him.
